The Slipper Palm, like its close relative the Bow Tie Palm, has a most unusual and attractive leaf shape. Shaped like a cupped slipper with pointed leaf tip, the glossy green foliage makes this palm a stunner in any shaded garden position. Growing to 2-3 metres depending on the amount of light it receives, it has a solitary stem which will attain a diameter of approximately 25mm or 1". Fruits are black and oblong shaped.
